From creating engaging presentations to formatting documents with precision, each student had the opportunity to explore and develop their digital skills. The students were also excited to learn common shortcut keys used to accomplish basics in the computer like “Ctrl + C” to Copy, “Ctrl + V to Paste, “Ctrl + B” to Bold and so on.

Graphics Design: Unleashing Creativity

The world is visual, and Kiddies Droid made sure the students were not left behind. Graphics design sessions empowered the young minds to express themselves artistically. From basic design principles to creating stunning visuals, the students discovered the power of visual communication. Using Canva, the students explored the art of crafting captivating flyers. They were encouraged to let their creativity run wild, resulting in an array of imaginative designs that reflected their unique perspectives. They created Advert Flyers, Birthday Flyers, and more.

Artificial Intelligence: A Peek into the Future

The future belongs to artificial intelligence, and Kiddies Droid understands the importance of preparing the younger generation. The students were introduced to the basics of AI, unraveling the mysteries behind technologies that are shaping the world. AI sessions went beyond theoretical concepts. Students engaged in practical exercises, witnessing how AI is applied in real-world scenarios. From image recognition to understanding the fundamentals of machine learning, the students got a firsthand look at the technology that defines the cutting edge. For the first time, they discovered the power of the AI Writing Assistant “ChatGPT”. It was an adventure for them as they wrote stories with ChatGPT.

Beyond the digital realm, “Street Code” aimed to guide students in navigating the vast landscape of career opportunities. Mr Okpe Barthlomew Uzo, the visionary leader of Kiddies Droid and mastermind behind Street Code, shared insights, experiences, and words of wisdom, inspiring the young minds to dream big and explore diverse career paths. Career talk sessions became interactive discussions where students had the chance to ask questions and receive guidance on their aspirations.
